A new gesture of solidarity by Carvico and Jersey Lomellina
A new gesture of solidarity by Carvico and Jersey Lomellina coming directly from the companies’ staff.
Indeed, the corporate unions have suggested donating one or more hours of work and the related income to support the activity of the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital of Bergamo, whose staff has been working at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19 since last March.
Such initiative has been welcome with enthusiasm by Carvico and Jersey Lomellina employees which have donated 7000 Euros.
“Through this initiative we intend to offer our contribution to tackling this health emergency which, although the main outbreak seems to be partially under control, has brought about a lot of uncertainty and the need for help” – claimed the companies – “COVID-19 has hit our district particularly hard and, through this simple gesture, we would like to show our respect and affection to those who have always been working tirelessly to provide assistance to everybody, especially in the last few months”.
Carvico and Jersey Lomellina are a big family which, once again, is trying to support the community and territory they are inextricably linked to, with the view to and in the hope of being able to start anew, stronger and closer than ever before.
