It may sound quite unusual, but this is exactly what happened this year at Mare di Moda!
Carvico and Jersey Lomellina broke the pattern and presented their latest capsule collection dedicated to the athleisure market by using a selection of finished garments, instead of their fabrics, worn by a team of performers who gave life to an exclusive, one-of-a-kind show!
On November 6, visitors flocked to the Living Space area of Carvico and Jersey Lomellina to watch Fit Your Life, a dynamic, cheerful and impressive performance by the Liberi di physical theatre company. A mix of dancing, music, calisthenics and fitness during which the artists presented the exclusive activewear collection created by Zero1 with athleisure fabrics by Carvico and Jersey Lomellina boasting the prestigious LYCRA® SPORT PCE certificate, certifying their extraordinary elasticity and shape recovery power.
Leggings, tops, t-shirts and shorts were assembled into 5 outfits ensuring dynamism, comfort and beauty, created combining 14 different fabrics produced by Carvico Jersey Lomellina: among the circular knit fabrics we could find Brighton and Bristol (JL evergreen glossy and matt ribbed fabrics ), Premium Star (extra black, extra matt and non see-through), Renew Prime (Jl sustainable fabric made of ECONYL® regeneraed Nylon), Wonder and Wonder Light (breathable and ultra-resistant);
representing Carvico warp knit fabrics, Chiné Soft (with an exclusive heather effect), Revolutional® (a last generation performance fabric featuring two International patents), Sumatra (a super classic, stylish, glamorous and glossy charmeuse), Vita, Vita Power and Vita Swede (made of ECONYL® regenerated Nylon ) and Hamptons, a brand new, fresh, soft, shaping glossy and non see-through fabric, fitting the body like a second skin you will never be able to do without!
A lively way to present a fabric collection, a chance to tell the companies story to the exhibition guests, Fit Your Life was an involving and thrilling show offered by Carvico and Jersey Lomellina together with LYCRA® to display the potential, the techno-features and the possible applications of their crown jewels designed for the atlheisure world.
