For over 10 years Carvico has been cycling along one of the most iconic cycling events in the world: the Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel.
Since 2010 we have been one of the Gold Partners of an event which is much more than a mere competition: it stands for passion, resilience, respect and community spirit.
Every year we provide our tangible contribution to this unique experience by creating with our fabrics an exclusive high-performance vest designed to support all participants to face the challenge of defying the impressive Dolomites mountains.
A 16-year-old partnership.
The partnership between Carvico and the Maratona dles Dolomites was born in 2010 and stems from a common objective: blending technical excellence and authentic values.
Over the years, this partnership has consolidated and translated into amazing figures which tell about the quality and resilience of Carvico fabrics: over 9.000 participants every year which have been gifted with a total of 140.000 vests by Carvico.

The Maratona dles Dolomites official vest is a concrete example of how fabrics by Carvico can be used in the cycling world. Specially made for the Maratona dles Dolomites, in partnership with Castelli Cycling, it is meant to deliver unrivalled sport performance.
The core of the project is the use of high-tech materials for cycling which are expected to offer the perfect mix of comfort, protection and performance.
Norway Plus: it features a “full”, soft and comfortable brushing, especially pleasant when used in direct contact with the skin. Ideal for the most challenging endurance sports which require a perfectly balanced thermal exchange between the body and the external environment, and perfect moisture management. Its excellent elasticity makes it ideal for the creation of second-skin garments ensuring comfort and maximum freedom of movement during exercise.
Revolutional™ Eco: it is a lightweight, stretch high-performance fabric, smart and versatile, designed to offer ergonomic fit, freedom of movement and aerodynamic performance. Its compact texture makes it ideal for high-performance sportswear while its matt surface looks modern and sophisticated, ideal for contemporary items.
Both fabrics are not only high-performance but also guarantee maximum UV protection (UPF 50+) and a sustainable soul which perfectly matches Carvico’s mission. They are made with at least 70% 100% regenerated nylon from pre- and post-consumer waste such as fishing nets from fish farms, carpets, plastic and industrial waste which, instead of being disposed of are recovered and turned into a high-quality new fiber, boasting the same properties as virgin nylon from fossil materials.
