Capri: cutting edge technology, vintage femininity

In order to respond to the market demand for soft, classy fabrics, that can ensure both comfort and high performances, Carvico S.p.A. is going to present at this year edition of “Mare di Moda”, Capri: its new, extra-soft techno-fabric, which has already been awarded the LYCRA® beauty certificate for Swimwear, the ideal fabric for shaping swimwear aimed at remodeling women’s silhouette.
Over the past years “shaping” has become the key word for swimwear. Capri perfectly meets the reference standards of the innovative LYCRA® beauty fabric platform by INVISTA. It is the ideal fabric for the creation of high performance, comfortable swimwear garments  offering an exceptional shaping effect. All those pluses are combined with the already well known benefits offered by Xtra Life LYCRA®, the specific fibre for swimwear developed by INVISTA:  resistance to chlorine (up to 10 times more effective than the average standard offered by normal stretch fibres) and to degradation by oils found in many lotions, long lasting shape retention.
Its slightly glossy surface, and the sophisticated nuances of the brand new color card – a refined and bold selection of both pastel and saturated and bright shades which creates exciting color matches -have been created to better suit women’s soft, curvaceous silhouettes.
A unique fabric that puts together a vintage, vaguely retro, style with a sexy, glamorous look, which reminds to the 40s but also takes the best of today’s technology: an exclusive product engineered to create an intriguing mix of elegance and  technical performance.
Capri has been manufactured to create new generation swimwear garments, which are both functional and comfortable, and can enhance women’s silhouettes.
In order to better present it to the exhibition audience, INVISTA has created for Carvico, in close collaboration with La Perla, an exclusive shaping swimsuit which is not only elegant and stylish but also extremely comfortable (see the picture on the right for a sketch of the model: thin
shoulder straps, soft cup construction supports and “deer coat” details).
Come to our stand, on November 23 through to November 25, to check it out.
