Fabric that cannot be un-knitted.

Carvico fabrics are two-way stretch and so suitable for preforming. All the fabrics in the Carvico collection can be preformed in various sizes. Thickness, width, centering etc., can be defined by the customer on the basis of its own production requirements. Most Carvico fabrics can be produced in white specifically prepared for printing. For precise, detailed information about printing on solid colour fabrics please contact the company directly via the contact form.

Carvico recommends that preliminary test are always carried out before a garment is made up in order to check the colour combination. Colour fastness values are indicated on each colour card. Carivco recommends to pay special attention to these data and does not recommend a colour combination when the fastness values of washing, water and sea water are lower than 4/5. Yes, Carvico fabrics are Oeko-tex certified. The Oeko-tex label guarantees that Carvico fabrics do not contain or release substances that are harmful to human health: they are therefore certified as being suitable for contact with the skin. The requirements and limits to be respected are continuously updated on the basis of the latest medical-scientific discoveries. Its maintenance of Oeko-tex certification over the years shows how Carvico is keeping pace with the times by following its "Green Vision" policy with conviction. In addition to Oeko-tex certification for fabrics, Carvico also holds many other business certifications.

Most of Carvico fabrics provide optimal protection against UV rays. Carvico can test your fabric to the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4399:1999 Sun Protective Clothing – Evaluation and classification and provide a UPF test report for each sample.

 

Yes. Free-cut garments can be produced using fabrics from the Revolutional® range, which guarantee optimal comfort and a perfect fit.

Yes, all Carvico fabrics are tested and checked to guarantee long-lasting top performance.

All Carvico fabrics intended for swimwear are resistant to chlorine and salt water. For competitive performances we recommend using fabrics containing Xtra Life LYCRA® brand elastomer or fabrics labeled as chlorine proof. In addition, for high level performances we recommend colours with a fastness to chlorinated (swimming pool) water (100ml/g) value of 3 or higher on the grey scale for colour change.

Carvico fabrics can be embroidered; however, cut work is not possible. With regard to appliqués on our fabrics, we advise you to contact your area sale representative for more precise, detailed information.

Yes, a particular, specific colour card has been developed for each Carvico fabric.

Choosing a colour from those offered in Carvico colour card, the minimum quantity purchase is one piece (equal to 70 linear metres).

Carvico’s colour laboratory is able to reproduce any colour the customer desires. Fabric in a sample colour must be produced and sold against an order from a customer, in line with the compulsory minimum quantities that vary depending on the article requested.
