On Thursday 7 November 2013 quite a huge crowd gathered at the Triennale of Milan for the opening of the exhibition entitled “Eccellenze Italiane”, organized by Material Connexion Italy. We are talking about a big display of the most innovative and sustainable materials, rigorously Made in Italy, designed with the aim to spread the knowledge of such materials among architects, designers, fashion operators and technology geeks which also meant to celebrate the great heritage of success stories our country has exported all over the world.
For the event MCI selected a group of the best Italian companies which were invited to take part in the opening and Carvico and Jersey Lomellina, two rigorously 100% Made in Italy businesses could not miss this opportunity. Carvico is there with its Revolutional™ Energy, the real star of the MCI Contest, which was chosen by Mr Antonio D’Ascenzo for “DesignZero” project which came second; and with Vita: the brand new, high-tech fabric designed for swimwear which is taking the market by storm. Jersey Lomellina has instead provided 3 tabulae of its fabrics: Nilo, Piuma Light and Vertigo.
Such exhibition therefore offers the perfect chance to those who might be interested, for finding out more about the quality of the best Made in Italy products and the innovative production processes behind them.
Come and find out more about Carvico and Jersey Lomellina in the Material ConneXion Italy Space at the Triennale through to December 8, 2013. We look forward to meeting you there!
