Back into water..with Renew!

Putting emphasis on the themes of ecology, environmental protection and awareness and recycling is now more than ever a duty as well as a necessity. The Italian company, Jersey Lomellina S.p.A., knows this, and this year too it has not missed the chance to show how creating and producing cutting edge technical fabrics while fully respecting nature is a process that is not only possible, but also indispensable for the future of an evolving industry like that of textiles.
From a union of research, development and innovation, JL’s laboratories have created the entirely  Made in Italy new ecological fabric: Renew. This is a fabric made from 80% recycled Polyamide fibre derived from production waste, scraps and also finished products (such as rugs and carpets, for example), and 20% Xtra Life LYCRA®.
Its technical characteristics are numerous: soft, compact and opaque, it guarantees total protection against UV rays (UPF 50+), is quick-drying and the presence of Xtra Life LYCRA® ensures that a garment made with Renew is highly resistant to chlorine. Extremely comfortable, Renew is suitable  both for use in the competition swimwear sector and in that more sophisticated and fashionable, where JL has always, and continues to make a name for itself.
Renew is not only a new fabric, it is a tangible way to give energy and vitality to the Green Vision eco-sustainable development programme that has always guided the Italian company in its serious ethical commitment to the environment and towards production that is not only economically but also ecologically and socially orientated.
