The real weeding-out came in the water...Now after this first favourable step we’re looking forward to the Triathlon World Championship on Friday and Sunday" The final result was:
1 Andrea Secchiero (ITA) 29.22
2 Daniel Halkswort (GB) 29.27
3 Philip Wolfe (GB) 29.30 Coach Sergio Contini’s words also expressed his satisfaction – “we were certain that Andrea would be able to “make himself noticed ”also in a world championship, and he did it, adding a well-deserved gold medal to his personal results for 2009 where he has been one of the main protagonists in all our specialties from the aquathlon and the duathlon to the triathlon.“ For the third year running, Carvico, with its Revolutional® family of fabrics, is technical sponsor for all the training and competition clothing worn by the “ProtekTriathlonRho” team.
